Cancellations - all sales are final.
Martz Travel does not issue refunds. Therefore, we recommend you purchase travel insurance. You may purchase travel insurance on your own or buy it through Trip Mate, a partner of Martz Travel. To get a quote or to purchase travel insurance from Trip Mate for any day trip or multi-day tour, go here.

If it becomes necessary for Martz Bus to cancel a trip, you will receive a full refund.

Mobility devices
If you require assistance or will be bringing an ADA-approved mobility device on a trip, please make note of it in the “Comments” section when making your reservation.
Wheelchairs
Wheelchairs are permitted on all tours and may be stored under the bus while in transport. Our motorcoach operator will assist you with this. If you need to remain seated in a wheelchair while we are traveling and require the use of a lift, please make note of this when making your reservation so Martz can make the proper arrangements.
Reservations
Due to limits on the number of people who can be accommodated on our motorcoaches and through hotel reservations, we suggest reservations be made at the earliest possible date. Reservations are handled on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservation is not confirmed until a deposit is received. We will accept names for wait lists, when possible.
Deposit/Payments
Payment in full is due at the time of booking for all single-day tours. For multi-day tours, a 10% non-refundable deposit is required; 50 percent is due 60 days before the departure date, and payment in full is due 30 days prior to the tour departure.
Installment Plans
We offer convenient installment payment plans for multi-day tours so you may spread out the cost of your trip over several months. Once you choose to pay in increments, the money will be automatically deducted from your checking account or charged to your credit card. You will receive a reminder a few days before each payment is scheduled to be withdrawn.
Booking Fees
Martz Travel never levies a booking fee on your reservation.
Credit Cards
All credit card payments are subject to a surcharge according to your credit card issuer and will be listed as service fee on your receipt. To avoid credit card surcharges, you may pay with cash, check or with an e-check (ACH) payment.
Cash payments
Cash payments for tours are only accepted at our Wilkes-Barre headquarters, 239 Old River Road and at our Scranton Terminal, 30 Lackawanna Avenue.
Checks and ACH payments
Checks and ACH payments are accepted for your convenience. There is no added charge when you pay by check or e-check (ACH). You may book a tour online and choose “pay by check” at checkout. Please follow the information regarding this payment method so we may reserve your space. If paying by an electronic check (ACH), you must provide your bank’s routing number and your checking account number.
Returned Checks
There is a $50 service charge on all returned checks.
Contact information
It is important that you provide an active email address and/or cell phone number at the time of booking so that we are able to contact you before or during a tour. Sometimes a last-minute change occurs while on a tour and we will need to notify you.
Bus seating
While we try our best to accommodate all requests, we cannot guarantee you will be assigned the seat of your choice. If you have a preference, please make note of it in the Comments section when booking your trip. We are committed to meeting the specific health and mobility needs of our passengers and will do our best to meet all requests.
Seatbelts
All motorcoaches are equipped with seatbelts. Passengers are responsible for following the New York state seatbelt law for buses while traveling within the state. The driver or tour coordinator will review the provisions of the law when we are traveling through New York.
Itineraries
Martz reserves the right to revise the itinerary and make substitutions of equal value.
Passenger envelopes
Passenger envelopes are distributed as passengers board the bus. These envelopes will include your seat number, tickets, itinerary, contact numbers and any other information you will need while on the tour.
Baggage
Passengers on multi-day tours are limited to one bag per traveler. Multi-day tour passengers will receive Martz luggage tags about a week before the departure date. Please put your name and cell phone number on the tag and make sure it is attached to your luggage at pickup. Baggage handling is provided by the hotel when noted. If you need assistance handling your luggage, please notify the tour coordinator. You are allowed to bring a small cooler and carry-on bag onto the bus. We ask that you store it under your seat or in the overhead bin so that you do not block the aisle.
Tour Coordinator
When a day trip or multi-day tour is staffed by a Martz tour coordinator, it is that person's responsibility to handle all tour details while traveling. Please reach out to our tour coordinator with questions, issues and requests.
Accommodations
We choose our overnight accommodations based on location, value, cleanliness and dining facilities, where needed, and recommendations by past guests and tourism professionals. You may make special requests regarding your lodging and we will do our best to accommodate you when possible. All hotel taxes and occupancy fees are included in the price of the tour.
Meals
Meals are included in the price of the tour where noted. When a meal is not included in the overall price, it will be listed as “on your own.”
Gratuities
Gratuities and sales taxes are included for all meals that are listed as included in the price of the tour. When you are dining “on your own,” you are responsible for all sales taxes and gratuities. Passengers will receive an envelope for a bus driver’s tip. This is optional. At times, a collection may be taken for step-on guides or other guides provided by the destination.
Traveling Abroad
If Martz travels outside of the United States, you will be required to produce a valid passport.
Identification
Some venues, including casinos and some federal and military installations, require guests to provide government-issued, photo identification. This will be noted in the tour description.
Electronic Devices and Cell Phones
We welcome the use of electronic devices and cell phones on our buses. We ask that you are considerate of other passengers while using your device.
Alcohol
Alcohol is not permitted on Martz motorcoaches.
Weapons
Weapons of any kind are not permitted on our motorcoaches.
